What we collect for Azerite (Discord bot + azerite.app) and how we use it.
Last updated: July 24, 2026
These pages describe how Azerite works today. They are not personalized legal advice. If you need counsel for your jurisdiction, please consult a lawyer.
Azerite (“we”, “us”) provides a World of Warcraft guild recruitment Discord bot and the website at azerite.app, including the public Looking-for-Guild browse feed and the officer dashboard. Contact: support@azerite.app.
Azerite is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft is a trademark of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.
Discord account (dashboard login). When you sign in with Discord OAuth we receive identifiers needed to authenticate you (such as Discord user id, username, avatar) and to list servers where you can manage the bot. We store a session cookie so you stay logged in.
Discord server configuration. If you invite the bot and configure Player Alerts, we store server id, chosen alert channel, filter settings (region, realm, language, class/role, item level, raid progress bounds, embed options), and related feature flags.
Looking-for-Guild / recruitment data. We process publicly available or partner-sourced LFG listings (for example from WoWProgress and Raider.IO), including character name, realm, region, commentary, languages, gear/progress-related fields, and profile links. We may enrich listings with third-party profile data (for example Raider.IO Mythic+ score or Warcraft Logs parse summaries when available) to build Discord alerts and browse cards.
Delivery history. When an alert is posted to your Discord channel, we may keep a short retention snapshot so your guild dashboard can show “Delivered to Discord” history.
Usage / support. We may keep operational logs (errors, rate limits, basic request metadata) to keep the service reliable and to investigate abuse.
Essential cookies. We use an HTTP-only session cookie (for example ts-token) to keep you signed in to the dashboard. These are required for login to work.
Analytics (optional). If Google Analytics 4 is configured on our servers, azerite.app asks for your consent before loading analytics scripts. Accept enables page-view and product-event measurement; Reject keeps essential login cookies only. Google may set its own cookies under Google’s privacy policy when you accept. You can change your choice later by clearing site data for azerite.app (the banner will appear again).
We do not use advertising cookies to sell access to your data. Clearing the session cookie will sign you out.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only as needed to run the product, for example:
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service and users.
We keep account and server settings while you use the service. Delivered-feed snapshots and operational logs are retained for a limited period (or until no longer needed for the purposes above), then deleted or anonymized where practical. You may ask us to delete dashboard account data by contacting support; removing the bot from a Discord server stops new alerts for that server.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, HTTP-only cookies, access controls). No online service is perfectly secure.
You can disconnect Discord login by signing out and clearing cookies, remove the bot from your server, and adjust Player Alerts settings in the dashboard. For access, correction, or deletion requests related to your account data, email support@azerite.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law.
Azerite is intended for Discord users who manage or help manage game communities. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord / your country).
We may update this Policy by posting a new version on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of Azerite after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
